After studying culinary arts at Senac in São Paulo, Gustavo Young lent his talent to prestigious international dining establishments including 3* Michelin restaurant El Celler de Can Roca in Spain, voted best restaurant in the world in 2013. Shortly after that, Gustavo moved to Barcelona to work under acclaimed chef Ferran Adrià at Dos Palillos, where their work was awarded a Michelin star.
